A judge with some perspective

In Butler v. Collier, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals Justice Carnes quotes Jime Croce and discusses the facts of a corrections officer in Florida who found her daughter's 19-yo boyfriend naked in a closet and pulled a gun on him and handcuffed him (still naked) while interrogating him.  It was the best of times, it was the worst of times . . .
